Seeing Green
Yes, it's that time of year again. Girl Scout Cookie time! You may have already noticed!
This activity allows the members to take an active part in raising funds for thier troop and other troops in their area. But, it is also a great way for them to practice those social skills that are needed in everday life.
So, this week, when you see the Brownies and Girl Scouts out with these treats, support and encourage them and they will surely return the favor!

He's Got Game!
Here's a good-news story making the rounds. My husband shared it with me earlier this week, and it's been on our minds ever since. Get ready to cheer!
To me, this isn't a story about a boy with autism. This is a story about a boy with a DREAM who was ready when he was called in to the game! Go Jason!

2008
...huh?...what?...Christmas is over?!
Well, the new year has started off with a bang! (OK, full disclosure: My husband - aka The Candyman - gifted me at Christmas with a brand new laptop OF MY OWN and the full series of "Gilmore Girls" on DVD. SO, there's that!) Nevertheless, the house is clean(-ish), the kids are back to school, and I have been getting a few ducks in a row for my little shop in my spare time! More on that later...
I'm looking forward to the goodness that 2008 holds. I just know it is there, waiting for me ... goodness. I'm going to seek it out every day. And I'll share as much as I can -- goodness to go!

Wait a minute Mr. Postman...
Ok, here I go. *deep breath* I have been doing some printing on my Gocco PG Arts (screenprinter). Here is a peek at my first work.
(close up)
(drying)
I think they are just so precious, but I'm always nervous about showing my work to others. Ugh! I hope I get over that one of these days!
all dressed up and ready to go!
(*I plan to offer these for sale as soon as I can set it up!*

This set is made from four different screens - one for each design. Then each card is printed, one at a time on ivory linen card stock. I printed some tags and tissue too!
So here is the set
all dressed up and ready to go!

But the first sets are on their way to some very special ladies!)
