Yes, it's that time of year again. Girl Scout Cookie time! You may have already noticed!
This activity allows the members to take an active part in raising funds for thier troop and other troops in their area. But, it is also a great way for them to practice those social skills that are needed in everday life.
So, this week, when you see the Brownies and Girl Scouts out with these treats, support and encourage them and they will surely return the favor!

Kelly, I just heard about a great way that Girl Scouts are using the cookie sale to support Merican soldiers overseas: They are selling boxes of cookies, and then asking people to dontate a box to a soldier. The Girl scout troops are putting together big boxes of cookies to send off to the troops. I think this is brilliant! (And I donated more than I brought home with me...very hard to do!)
Put that together with the boxes of Starbucks coffee that are also being sent to our troops, and they'll have a great dessert!!!!
